I have taught kindergarten for many years and I cannot imagine having a job that I would love more. Teaching kindergarten is not only teaching academics and social abilities but it is also teaching children to love school.
Creating a classroom that has appropriate materials allows my students the opportunity to learn through hands-on, creative and imaginative play.
Kindergarteners enter school with a desire to learn and grow. We do not have to teach our kindergarteners how to play but giving them materials that engage creative thinking and positive social interactions will only help them to grow.
My Project
Education is changing every day and so is the ability of my kindergarten students. Hands-on and open-ended manipulative opportunities allows children to create and work at their current ability.
My kindergartners are eager to create and learn while working with their peers.
Magna-Tiles will provide the opportunity for all students to be able to explore and learn about colors, magnets, shapes and structures. The best way for kindergartners to learn is through play. It is my job to give each student the opportunity to grow and learn as much as possible.
