My Project

I am currently supporting a Multilingual Learner (ML) through the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Hospital and Home Instruction Program (HHIP). My student is affable, intelligent, and eager to learn, but unfortunately, can't attend school at this time because of medical issues.

My student loves science experiments and graphic novels.

I plan on using the STEM Electricity and Magnetism Kit and graphic novels to plan lessons targeting my student's reading, writing, listening, and speaking domains in English. The lessons I will develop with the science kit and graphic novels will bring a lot of joy into the life of a child who is currently homebound and restricted to his bed.
