My Students

We have the most amazing group of students at our school! With about 600 students in PreK through 3rd grade, we have a very diverse community with a variety of cultural backgrounds that thrives on learning, exploring, and celebrating what each child brings to the table every day!

Our students are curious, creative, and always willing to share their learning with others!

They are the first to teach someone a new concept, including their own teachers! They enjoy building relationships, working together, exploring concepts and ideas, and hands-on activities.

My Project

Our school wants to give our students the best education possible. We want to give our students the skills they need to be ready for the endless jobs in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, or STEAM. That is why we know our school needs a STEAM lab.

STEAM labs can have many resources in them, but a great tool that encourages creativity and problem-solving is a magnetic exploration wall.

With a magnetic exploration wall, our students can build ramps, and paths to test ideas about motion and design. They can collaborate and problem-solve with their peers.

With the magnets in these kits, we will be able to provide new, engaging, and hands-on activities to over 600 students.
