Magnetic Tiles Make Learning Fun!

Help me give my students some magnetic activities to enhance their independent play and learning.

My Project

My classroom serves students in K5-5th grade. All of the students in my classroom have autism spectrum disorder. All of my students are considered non-verbal and receive speech and language services.

Students with special needs deserve engaging educational opportunities.

Providing my students with magnetic tiles will allow them to foster independence and creativity. First, the magnetic tiles will easily join together. This will help students who have deficits in fine motor skills. Secondly, the teacher can use the magnetic tiles to teach a variety of skills: colors, animals, families, etc. Thirdly, magnetic tiles allow for students to work independently and express their creativity.
