Magnetic Mazes

My Project

TK (transitional kindergarten) is a place where students learn by doing. They spend the day exploring, building, creating, and playing, all while learning critical skills that will help them be successful in kindergarten and beyond. Earlier this year someone gifted us a magnetic maze from Lakeshore. Not only do my sweet TK students love it, but it gives them wonderful and engaging practice holding a "pencil" (the magnetic stylus) and learning how to move their fingers and hands to create various lines.

I was surprised by how engaged my students are with their magnetic maze, and would love to give them more opportunities to work with different challenges and formats.

Not only that, I love Lakeshore products because they seem to last forever and these mazes will be enjoyed by hundreds of kids throughout the years.
