Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'll be moving to first grade with my students next year. We'll need some new math manipulatives to learn first grade math. individual Write and Wipe Number Lines and hundreds charts will help my students understand number order.
Magnetic manipulatives will make teaching math easier and give my students visual cues to help them learn.
The students will be able to come up to the board and interact with a magnetic 100's chart and magnetic ten frames. They will also be able to model numbers using base ten blocks and rods.
