My Project
Making math concepts visual and concrete using manipulatives helps enhance conceptual understanding especially for our youngest learners. When those math supplies are magnetic it is magic!
Magnetic math manipulatives and supplies makes demonstrations easier, more visual, and more hands-on for students.
In my classroom, I have two big whiteboards that I use for whole class instruction and a whiteboard easel that I use when students are on the carpet. These whiteboards are prime real estate for instruction and magnetic. Modeling important math concepts using magnetic counters, place value blocks, notebook paper, rulers, and more helps create math magic. They are easily visible for students, they can interact and they can manipulate them without sitting at their desks.
