Magnetic Discoveries and Play

My Project

Preschool is a time for discovery through play. That is what I am trying to create in my classroom, an engaging environment full of learning opportunities. This is my second year teaching preschool and I am moving into a larger room to allow for more discovery and learning through play. This is the first time many of my students will be exposed to what school is all about. I want their first impression to be that school is a welcoming, fun, and an exciting place to be.

I am requesting a discovery center for magnetic fun and play.

With your donation to this project, my students will greatly benefit allowing them to learn how magnets work while also learning about letters, colors, shapes, numbers, sharing, turn taking, teamwork and stem skills. Last year, because of the size of my classroom, I was not able to have a dedicated science center. This magnetic center would be a start of my new science center and a place of discovery!
