Help me give my students access to a Magnetic Design Center equipped with STEM kits to foster cooperative learning and problem-solving as well as magnetic letters for reinforcing spelling CVC words.
Now that we have survived COVID, we are so happy to be back in person and not have to worry about students keeping a distance from one another. Magnetic board centers are a compact powerhouse in the classroom. Not only are they easy to make a change to fit a lesson, but they also provide a unique vertical play experience for students.
Having a magnetic design center will foster cooperative learning and thinking with the use of STEM-type magnetic kits that includes a "Create-A-Path" set, Engineer-A-Coaster set, a "Turn Learn Magnetic Gears" set, and a stand-up magnetic board to build on.
STEM activities teach children more than science and math concepts. The focus on hands-on learning with real world applications helps develop a variety of skill sets, including creativity.
Jumbo magnetic letters are perfect for little kindergartner hands to hold and will be used for students to reinforce letter names and sounds as well as build CVC words.
