Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach the coolest middle schoolers around. My students may have some form of disability but that does not define them. They are full of talents and abilities that the world deserves to see!

It’s time to see abilities!

It starts with a book and becomes so much more.

I had a student tell me “today people made fun of me because I can’t read”.

WHAT?!?!

This is not acceptable! We can read! And we will read. And we will see how amazing we are at reading!

My Project

We love completing science experiments! Magnets are fun and a great way to learn new skills. Through the magnet advanced kit we will be able to expand our understanding of magnets and participate in over 10 different experiments.

We also love reading!

Having a set of Captain Underpants and The Diary of a Wimpy Kid are both great series for our class to read! We enjoy reading new stories that are relatable to our life!
