Magna-Qubix for STEM play!

Help me give my students Magna-Qubix blocks for a communal STEM building experience.

My Students

I teach fourth grade and have a wonderful group of students this year. I say that every year. My district has a large percentage of students who qualify to receive free or reduced-price lunch, totaling 70% of our school.

This limits my students' abilities to experience educational places and technologies.

Most of their experiences in these areas come to them in the form of classroom experiences and field trips. The picture I uploaded of my class is them using Google Expeditions Virtual Reality headsets to tour Yosemite, which we have been reading about. I hope that you will consider funding our classroom projects so that these students may grow and have the same opportunities as students not living in poverty.

My Project

Buildable like Magna Cubes are expensive and hard to come by in lower income homes and schools. I am hopeful that my students will be gifted these Magna Cubes for our classroom. Plus, I have asked for enough for the other 4th grades in my building as well! Over 100 students will benefit from this donation.

Hands on building is so important to motor cortex development, social skill building, and math and science concepts!

I enjoy listening to my students cooperatively build with hands on items. They are only bound by their own creativity. I do not have enough buildables for all of my class to use them at the same time. With your generous donation, we would be able to have "Buildable" for all!
