This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school were a majority of my students receive free or reduced lunch, breakfast and supper. 100 % of my students are Hispanic.
Many of my students come from a single family home but they are always eager to come to school everyday.
My Project
We survived the pandemic and we are getting ready for the new school year. The students are ready to learn writing and develop motor skills.
My students will use a writing practice magic board to help them to develop fine motor skills, learn their alphabet and numbers, and motivate them to become lifelong learners.
We will also use the writing practice magic boards inside the classroom and outside on the yard when she do shared activities. This will save paper and can be used year after year.
I am hopeful that we will return to some type of normalcy in the coming months, and the magic practice board will encourage a love of learning.
