My Students

Second graders strive to make sense of the world around them. My second graders are eager to learn. They are at a prime age. Second grade is the year they start reading to learn. It is essential for kids to focus on​.

Each child is unique, caring, and loving.

They can be shy, serious, goofy, or moody. I have 18 students at all different stages in their learning. However, just like all students, they need structure and security in their lives. We are so excited to be on this journey together.

My Project

I have many students that love our Lap Pal Lap Pads. However, I only have two. I have eighteen students. Fifteen of them love to use these pads.

They are calming and helps some students increase their attention.

Kids seem to like the weight on their laps. Many of them say, "Mrs. Larsen, these weighted pads help me focus." I would like to offer more than just two. It seems as though I need more of them.

According to ESpecial Needs, "...just place the Lap Pal Lap Pad on their lap while seated, and it'll do its​ job right away."
