This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is the first semi normal year our students have had since the pandemic started. We have begun literacy circles that focus on students engagement, comprehension skills and writing. The students have really begun to dig deeper into chapter books and have taken a love of reading with the Magic Tree House set. I love seeing how engaged they are through out each story and listening to their predictions about what will happen in the next chapter or even in the next book. The characters are so relatable that the students feel like they are in the stories. I would love to have a set that I can share with every student in order to continue their love of reading and exploring.
