In our classroom, centers make up a large and impactful part of our school day. Centers are often considered magical in our room since it is a time to truly practice our learning independently.
Our classroom needs materials to organize and create meaningful centers that are aligned with the Science of Reading and incredible UFLI phonics curriculum.
In order to create magical and meaningful learning for my firsties, hands on materials need to be assembled, prepared, and organized.
Therefore, I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers card to help create meaningful center activities that align with the Science of Reading and our UFLI curriculum. Cardstock, construction paper, lamination sheets, and coils will be used to help protect and preserve these centers for years to come. Additionally, my students will need materials that will allow them to interact daily with their centers with minimal disruption such as a crayon sharpener, dry erasers, dry erase markers, magic erasers, velcro dots, and labels.
My first graders are nothing short of magical. Teaching students to read is a challenging but rewarding gift. These materials will help ensure that my students have activities that create meaningful phonics learning opportunities.
