Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This activity will give students opportunities to learn about Chinese culture, Chinese New Year, and others. It will also give students opportunities to learn, discover, explore, thrive culturally, and gain confidence.
The materials I am asking for are to create numerous resin projects, starting with the Chinese New Year.
I teach in a Title I School (Equity Focus), where most of our population is either ENL or SWD, or both.
My students learn better with hands-on activities, they are very diverse and from different backgrounds. The difference and richness of the cultural backgrounds my students bring to the classroom make the class more fun. I am learning a lot from them.
With these resin art supplies, my students will be able to have more tools to explore their creativity and demonstrate their learning process. It is important to help students connect their activity or cultural identity with cultural significance.
My students are practicing with joy as they proudly reveal their identities and discover their connection with other cultures. Please help me bring this project to life! If we don't get these supplies, then the show can't go on.
I am also asking for some additional resources for my students to support my students in passing the Algebra regents in Spanish and going to high school with credits under their belt.
