The students at my school are enthusiastic about learning! They come to school every day prepared to learn as much as they can about every topic their teachers present to them.
The students love their specials: music, art, library, and P.E.
The students take full advantage of using their creative abilities throughout their day, but specials time is a great opportunity for them to create with the many resources available to them! Music class is the heartbeat of the school!
My Project
My students need a quick way to write things down in the music room. We do not have desks or chairs in the room, and the whiteboards and markers would be extremely helpful to create on the floor with their friends.
Writing our own musical ideas, rhythmic or melodic dictations, answering questions about form and so many other ideas to keep my classroom organized and running smoothly!
I teach over 700 students every five days. In all grades, kindergarten through fifth grade I can find ways to incorporate the white boards and markers into every grade level! The students are used to moving and playing and singing, and adding an easy way to compose and write it together will be a welcome new change to our classroom norms.
