Magical Mistakes

My Students

My middle school math students are highly motivated with hands on activities. Real life projects and scenarios capture their attention. Friendly competition is enjoyed by all of them. They love to hold student led discussions, complete projects, play games, and work in different sized groups.

These students are our future Science, Math, Technology, and Engineer specialist!

They work hard and are very open to suggestions and constructive feedback. Their curiosity and critical thinking is inspirational. I love being their teacher!

My Project

My students are more engaged with tools that do not involve paper and pencil. They often do not take risks because they fear making mistakes. They tend to be perfectionists!

With these white boards, they will be more eager to try challenging math problems because they can easily erase to correct their mistakes or change their thinking!

The boards allow me to quickly check for understanding, provide immediate feedback, and plan for small group instruction. Plus they can be utilized with every one of our math units. This is a tool that both my students and I can't function without!
