Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will allow my students to explore math concepts such as shape, line, number, and quantity in hands-on, child-centered ways. Children learn math by doing math and having tangible items such as 3-D shape puzzles, counters, and ten frames that are meant to be felt; students will build number sense in playful ways. In my Pre-K classroom, I am eagerly switching out center materials and teaching students new ways to explore and use math tools. These new materials will keep the math center interesting and engaging. Thank you for helping my students grow and learn! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your generosity!
