My Students

My first grade classroom is filled with curious and outgoing students! Every student comes from different backgrounds and brings their own unique personality into our room. Many students come from low income families and receive as much outside support as they can so that they can be as successful as possible. The one thing each student has in common is the motivation to learn and do better! Each student comes into my classroom with a smiling face and we continue to stay positive throughout our school day. No matter the struggles students may go through in and out side of school, we continue to want to progress and do better.

My Project

Our 1st grade classroom is in need of dry erase markers. Although this may seem like a small material to be using in a classroom, it is a very beneficial tool. We call them our magical markers! These magical markers are used on a daily basis in our classroom. We use it for ELA writing, practice spelling words, sentence building, math review, small group/whole group lessons, and so much more! These markers will serve as a way for students to put their ideas and thoughts into writing in a fun and easily fixable way. Any amount of dry erase marker donation will be accepted with appreciation and love.
