Help Our Students Experience the Magic of Metamorphosis!
We want to bring science to life for our students by raising funds for Insect Lore’s Giant Butterfly Garden!
With your help, all 5th-grade classes will have the chance to observe real caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies—an unforgettable, hands-on lesson in biology and life cycles.
This project is more than just observing caterpillars transform—it’s about teaching our students responsibility, care, and respect for nature. Each student will feed, observe, and document the butterfly life cycle while learning the importance of nurturing living creatures.
Once our butterflies emerge, we will have a special release day, where students will gently set them free into their natural habitat. This moment teaches an invaluable lesson: that our role as caretakers comes with the responsibility of ensuring these beautiful creatures thrive in the wild.
By donating, you’re helping fund this hands-on science experience and supporting a lesson in environmental stewardship and empathy for all living things.
Each kit includes a reusable habitat, life cycle models, an observation journal, and a voucher for live caterpillars, allowing our students to engage in a three-week STEM adventure. However, we need your support to make this possible!
