Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach robotics to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students using LEGO Education materials. My students love working with LEGOs to create amazing new projects that they then program to move independently. They begin by building and programming specific designs such as carnival rides or modes of transportation, then they use what they have learned to create and program their own inventions! The things my young engineers create blow my mind daily and their hard work deserves a reward!

I want to reward all this hard work by offering them the opportunity to build larger LEGO Harry Potter sets they can then program to move with the magic of their robotics motors!

These projects can then be displayed as proof of the power and magic of engineering in a real world way to motivate new groups of students learning about robotics!
