Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students have the ability to manipulate and order numbers written in a variety of forms, they develop math confidence. With these table clamps and rods, each table will be able to have interactive numberlines. This will allow them to order number cards and rearrange as needed without having to cross-out or erase answers.

Interactive numberlines also provide an entry point for every ability level.

This is due to each student having the ability to place the first number, to listen to how others compare their numbers to that one, and to work together to place the rest of the numbers/expressions correctly. Mistakes are not permanent since numbers can come off and move around with ease.
