Magic, Mystery, Alphabet Challenge

Help me give my students fun games such as Classic Games for Beginners, Alphabet Mystery Box, and more to allow me to teach concepts such as waiting and taking turns, counting and matching, letter naming and letter sounds.

My Students

My students are from lower income families. Most are single parent families. They have limited resources so I try to include as many fun and interesting activities for learning the basic skills in the classroom. I am preparing my students for Kindergarten so skills such as social-emotional skills, literacy, and math skills are essential.

I have several students with special needs and language difficulties.

My students come to school seeking comfort and safety as well as fun with peers and teachers. I am trying to provide the safest and most inviting place for my students to be each day when they are away from parents. I want them to find joy and excitement in learning each day.

My Project

My project is full of fun games. These games will help me teach students about sharing and taking turns. Candy Land will assist my students in recognizing and matching colors. Chutes and Ladders is a great way to learn to follow directions, wait for a turn, and play fairly with others. All these skills are required for kids who will be attending Kindergarten in the fall. I want to help all my students succeed in school. New activities are so exciting

My students love animals so the Alphabet Zoo game will be something everyone will want to play each day.
