My Students

I work in a Title I school and my students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch.

My students are passionate, hard-working, and eager to learn.

They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers...They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful, educational career.

My students are learning and growing every day. I want to help inspire them in any way I can.

My Project

Having a classroom carpet where the students can gather together could change so many things for my students. Sitting on a hard floor takes away from the students' engagement and attitude towards the task the students are trying to complete.

With a classroom carpet, the students can take a magic carpet ride through novels as a class and individually, have a comfortable place to do classroom activities, and have an area to sit together to build relationships.

In my classroom, we are a family, and having a common place to comfortably meet and discuss together will mean the world to them.
