This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After teaching second grade for 12 years I have been moved to a new classroom that needs to be furnished from scratch. My students do not have a gathering place to sit and read , do partner work , or just to stretch out and work.
By providing this carpet, you will be giving my students a comfortable yet functional option when it comes to learning.
It is very challenging to have the students sit in desks all day long without moving or changing positions. This carpet would give my third graders the opportunity to do that.
