This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

50 years ago, computers were as big as a room, now they fit in your pocket. Sadly, not everyone can experience the new technologies.

I teach in a Title 1 school were a lot of students see the technology gap becoming wider.

Most of them are receiving free lunch. They lack a lot of experiences like having seen the sea, or visiting museums, and now Budget cuts are making it harder for kids to acquire these kind of experiences.

My Project

New technologies can inspire children and make learning fun. There are other types of tablets, but an Apple product like the iPad mini has access to tons of educational applications (Apps). My students will be able to practice reading, mathematics, writing and science skills.

If you decide to fund this request you will be helping kids in extreme need.

They will have access to the newest technology and you will be helping to close the technology gap in our own country.
