This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need a variety of sources for authentic research. A variety of magazine subscriptions for the library will help to provide my students with valuable experience interacting with print media.
My students are curious and love having print sources to reference for their projects and for independent learning.
Having magazines to use in the library will give my students a break from their screens with engaging and timely articles with eye-catching glossy pictures. It is important for students to learn how to cite articles in print magazines. Having a variety of magazines will help them to feel comfortable using print sources in their research!
