See what Ms. Brown is requestingMy students need the 15 note Xylophone to read and play sheet music. This instrument supports most of the standards being taught for k-3 scholars.

My students have a love for music. Every time they enter my classroom the excitement begins!!! Their faces light up when they hear their favorite music activities. When it is time for a concert, they constantly ask me in the hall "will we come to you for rehearsal Ms. Brown?!". Then with a smile i answer them.
I am touched by how much energy my students put into their practices.
There was a time when a student came to me during the winter concert rehearsal. He asked me if he could sing the song "Silent Night" as a solo. I did not plan to have a solo in that selection, but his persistence caused me to change my mind. Boy I made the best decision. That baby song his solo as his life depend on it! His voice was full of happiness and joy. He also influenced other students to ask for a solo the next concert. My students encourage me to teach them all I have to offer. They often request me to teach them more music even when their time is over. Teaching elementary music was the best choice I made.
You will not make a mistake by helping my Musical Maestros! Each item on this list will be used every day. The Xylophone will benefit our scholars with ear training, reading, and playing music. This instrument will also give them the physical advantage of learning. My students will appreciate practicing this art form which will allow them to see that there is more to music class than just singing a song.
My children shows a wonderful sense of engagement while playing the non pitched instruments during my lessons.
I believe that better quality of an instrument will last longer and it will give an opportunity to grow the inventory. The hand bells are for my special needs students. It was a success with teaching them how to manipulate the sounds as they hear it. The bells also triggered their creative side. The only problem was there wasn't enough bells for them to paly as a group. Having enough bells will eliminate behavior problems while learning .
The stereo plays a very important role of my day. This device will support the students for learning songs for concerts and playing songs associated with the lesson. The stereo system I currently have is not supportive to my classroom size . The speakers are not loud enough and I loose my scholars focus. They often tell me that they can not hear what is playing. The school purchased a curriculum that came with Cd's. The current sound system caused me to neglect the Cd portion of my lesson and i want to use all of the components given to my students.
With your help you will make my title come to past. Music is a way of life and i want my students to experience all of it! This can start with you!
