Help me give my students the JBL speaker because my classroom had no audio which prevented lessons in video format. I will need a laminator for Bio camp and flip charts for peer-teaching. White boards aid visuals.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Davis's classroom raised $955

My Students
My science students like the flow of class to run smoother and they are efficient. They peer-teach topics like genetics and created unique flower diagrams that are accessed for review throughout the school year by simply attaching them along the walls.
They like organizational class materials that allow for quick access to notes and for collecting exit tickets (mini quizzes) that are reviewed content learned that class.
Students create a binder portfolio of all work completed in class and used that as study material in Biology research-support classes.
There are kinesthetic learner, visual, oral, and auditory learners amongst the special populations within my integrated student classroom. They are competitive and like to use technology class to get immediate feedback when scoring high on interactive quizzes.
My Project
Students will use the flincher and easel for creating projects like: Miller-Urey experiment and flower part diagrams. The speaker will be used for auditory learners during video lessons that occur 3 times a week and during outside lessons. Students will be able to manipulate a document (labeling, and writing on) that has been laminated. This has helped ramp up scores in biology camps where students can complete math-based genetic problems and circle answers as if it were a dry erase board.
The ink cartridges will give all students access to printables that are required by district for lab notebooks.
Students will take quizzes and mock test as they approach the EOC exam required to graduate. Label makers help organize portfolios for students as they collect notes and assignments throughout the year. These items will bridge the gap needed for achievement gains this year.
