it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a fast speed computer with enough storage to be able to save lessons from year to year. Your help to purchase a fast processing laptop will help me to create lesson plans with technology embedded into them, ensure that my computer is not freezing when I am trying to teach my little ones or dance with them when we play movement videos.
My students love to create books and see themselves in everything they do and this computer will help with creating social stories for my pre-k student with special needs and those working on understanding social norms.
This computer package will allow me to have the technology needed to teach simultaneously or virtually when I need to, as well as teach technology-based lessons in the classroom. I will be able to provide my current and future students with engaging and interactive Google slides that allow them to interact with computer-created images of themselves, create assignments that include technology apps such as Ignite which syncs with the assessment tool that is used in our classroom, access to QR reading books, communicate with families, use my students' pictures to create individualized books and lessons that they will be excited about, and so much more.
Technology is everything when teaching in the 21st century and updated technology will make a difference in enhancing lessons and engagement by playing interactive, educational-based games, engaging reluctant learners through technology, and interest in animated characters, by not only my current students but for my future students as well.
