Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This laptop will be a powerful tool that will enhance not only my craft as a teacher but, my students as well. I will be able to take virtual courses. These courses will allow me to grow professionally in my knowledge of literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. It will also allow me to collaborate with my colleagues on a regular basis.

I will use the Apple MacBook as a tool to prepare myself with the technological demands of Common Core and prepare me for the 21st century.

I will create PowerPoint slide shows and graphic organizers of content-based learning to improve my craft as a teacher and support the Common Core State Standards of Technology.

I will also be able to acquire new teaching strategies through the online professional development of the Common Core State Standards and STEM planning. I need to have access to enchanted learning, the education center, FamilyEducation, and Scholastic.

Technology is not just a tool, It can give learners a voice that they may not have had before.

The donation of an Apple MacBook will prepare me for the technology demands of the 21st century and professional growth for the Teaching and Learning Frameworks. I will be able to incorporate content-based lessons to support technology and provide visual media to my students.
