My Students

My students attend a rural county school and are culturally, religiously, and socio-economically diverse. They are goal-oriented and enjoy hands-on learning and materials that enrich our classroom environment. We are currently needing new technology materials.

My students work diligently on their lessons and crave new materials to use throughout the curriculum.

They are truly a wonderful group of second graders who are intrinsically motivated and love to learn more than anything. I am thrilled to be their teacher!

My Project

This MacBook would make such a huge difference for my students, who are learning at home. I am currently trying to teach them, using an 11 inch Chromebook that is not sufficient for screen sharing or seeing all of my students in our virtual meetings. There are so many programs I would like to be able to utilize during my live lessons, that I'm just not able to run on a student Chromebook. My district provides teachers with desktops only, which does not have a camera for live meetings. This MacBook would make a difference in my ability to teach my students each day.
