This year, we have a group of students who are very tech savvy and love to use the computers to pull up resources and videos to enhance their learning. The laptop I have is on the verge of retirement. It is very slow and constantly has trouble connecting to the internet. It would help the classroom to have a brand new laptop that works faster. When my students are struggling with some learning concepts, we look up songs, or resources online to help clarify their understanding. Using my old laptop has slowed up our instructional time and will sometimes lose the students' focus. Having this new device will make their learning more fun and exciting.
