My students need a computer to publish writing. I would like to get a Mac because of the things you can do with it would engage students and enhance their learning experience.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at my school come from a variety of backgrounds. Many of them don't speak English as their first language and come to school without the necessary tools to be successful. The majority of my students speak either Spanish or Punjabi at home.
I would like to provide my students with an additional computer to use for publishing their writing.
I don’t have enough computers for all students to use. This would help me to help bridge the technology gap.
My Project
I would really like to give students the opportunity to use a Mac to work on their writing. I don’t have technology for all students to be on the computer at once. This would help me give another student access to technology as well as provide a device to use for writing and publishing that writing.
In order for my students to become proficient readers and writers I need to provide an engaging and motivating way to do it.
I feel this computer would help me do that. Writing is hard to market fun at this age and this would be an excellent tool to do it.
