This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I feel like my students are some of the best students and we teach them to become our future. My students are in a low-income area and they lack the knowledge of how life is outside of their neighborhood.

Some of my students lost their homes and many items, due to Hurricane Harvey.

Considering all of these effects, they still come to my class eager to learn. My students are hard workers, I have students who range from being in the United States their whole lives, to students who have just arrived from El Salvador, Mexico, or Honduras.

My Project

Students learn not just from a book, now everything around them is technology, and I feel like what better way for them to be able to learn and explore. With this MacBook computer, I want to bring math to life. I want my students to be able to use it to be able to explore a different world and what all math can do and help in the future. My school is a lower income school and a donation to these students will make a big difference in their lives. These students are our future. Thank you for taking the time to make a difference
