This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kinders are learning to read, spell, and write in two languages; Spanish and English! There is limited resources for the Spanish part of our Dual Language Program. Heggerty Phonemic Awareness complete curriculum in Spanish is a great resource for our bilingual and monolingual students. Our students have shown great growth using Heggerty in English & we are confident that with the addition of Heggerty in Spanish we will see great growth in Spanish as well! The addition of this resources to our curriculum will really enhance their skills to give them a voice in two languages!
