The school I am teaching in is in an urban area. The students in my school are extremely motivated to learn and have made tremendous progress this school year. They love to read and write and have started wanting to type and publish their stories! They look forward to hands-on activities during math and science.
My students deserve the best education possible and appreciate the support they receive from family, friends, and the community.

My Project
These sight word magnets will help my students practice and learn their sight words. These color coded words will allow me to assign students activities to practice and they will know which words they are responsible. This allows my classroom to be differentiated in order to meet individual student needs.
They are leveled for all abilities in my class and because they are magnetic students can manipulate them on the board.
We can use them to play learning games and practice our reading skills.
They are easy to wash between student use and will support student learning.
