My Students

The students at my school are enthusiastic about learning! They come to school every day prepared to learn as much as they can about every topic their teachers present to them. Staying home has NOT stopped our learning! We are taking it on one day at a time and making music together every week.

The students love their specials: music, art, library, and P.E.

The students take full advantage of using their creative abilities throughout their day, but specials time is a great opportunity for them to create with the many resources available to them! Music class is the heartbeat of the school!

My Project

My students LOVE playing instruments. They are always eager to try different skills and techniques that I teach them. The mallet instruments are very expensive, and adding just one xylophone to our instrumentarium would be a huge win!

We will not be stuck at home forever, and I cannot wait to be back in person so my students can play instruments again.

I am looking to maximize the amount of students at the mallet instruments by adding one as soon as we can. We know how to share, but when it comes to the performing instrument group we certainly could use some additional barred instruments! This alto xylophone instrument will be truly appreciated and played every day!
