My Students
My students are young men and young ladies who live in the most dangerous city in the US as well as being labeled one of the highest poverty rates. They struggle daily in many ways to make it to school, but once they arrive, they are ready to go. We have breakfast together, and then we are off on our learning adventure for the day. My students come to school to learn. They have plans for college, and to reach those goals, we push every day to overcome the struggles they face.
My Project
My project Lunchtime Fun! will provide my students fun and creative activities during lunch. Due to Covid numbers my students will remain in our classrooms during lunch with scheduled times to be able to go outside. The time outside will be limited due to the playground area so I want my students to have fun, play games, and be able to be creative during lunchtime.
Lunchtime should be filled with fun and a break from school work, so I created this project for my students to be able to do just that!
I remember waiting for lunch to have fun with my friends and I want my students to be able to do just the same. I included wooden cars the students can create and then we can have races and a GRAND PRIX. I also included bracelet kits, weaving kits, and evn a sewing kit to learn some new skills too. Lunchtime fun comes to life with all the items I have odered.
