This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Celebrating different cultures in the classroom is very important. With students from all different cultures, these books and crafting supplies will help my students become familiar with the Lunar New Year.

My goal for this project is to educate my 4 and 5 year old students about the Lunar New Year, what it is and what it means.

I will educate them by reading the books and making crafts with the supplies listed. They can also color the pages included to display their creativity in the classroom. The gong will not only help get their attention in the classroom, but will create a Zen atmosphere for all.
