This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a passionate, National Board Certified, special education, high school teacher. Our school is a Title I-funded school serving a diverse population. The students I work with are determined and strive to persevere through social-emotional and academic challenges.

Many of my students are part of the yearbook staff, attend school activities, volunteer in the community, and serve as members of the Associated Student Body (ASB).

They excel with movement and hands-on experiences. I am blessed to be their teacher and strive to encourage students beyond their greatest expectations.

As the Lunar New Year begins, this is a great opportunity to provide my students with Flocabulary, Quizizz and two Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift cards. These supplies will provide supplemental material to bring the Lunar New Year, and new semester to life. Using engaging videos, slides, quizzes and assignments this new year will lift into high gear. These items will facilitate teamwork, communication, and social skills. Thank you for supporting students with unique needs.
