Lunar New Year Celebrations

Help me give my students resources that will help them learn about the Lunar New Year. This includes Teachers Pay Teachers resources, gel pens, and more.

My Project

The students with special needs in my classroom love to learn about other cultures that they may unfamiliar with. The students will enjoy learning about the Lunar New Year and why it is celebrated. They will be able to take part in activities found on Teachers Pay Teachers that will enhance their knowledge on the topic. Their interest will grow and they will love getting to uncover the special traditions and customs that go along with celebrating this particular holiday.

The students will be able to reflect upon their previous years and share what they are looking forward to in the upcoming New Year.

Each day, they will answer questions about themselves that can be found in the 'One Question a Day' journal. They will be able to share their answers aloud or write them down using the colorful pens. I will be able to organize their responses in the folder and they can take them home at the end of the school year.
