Lunar New Year 2024: Year of the Dragon

Help me give my students a new read aloud book, red money envelopes, chocolate coins, fortune cookie erasers, and other items to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024.

My Project

We have been "traveling the world" learning about different countries and their holiday traditions. To continue learning about various holidays and countries around the world, this project will provide us with materials to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

This project will help my class celebrate The Year of the Dragon!

I have included a new read aloud book which addresses how five different Asian communities celebrate Lunar New Year, red money envelopes and chocolate coins for inside the red money envelopes, 2024 Year of The Dragon Game Scratch Off Fortune Cards, Mad Libs, fortune cookie erasers and a dragon craft for students to create. I can't wait to read the book aoud and celebrate Lunar New Year with my students this year, and many years to come!
