Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my schools will benefit from learning how a laser engraver works by using the xTool F1 portable laser and air filter. The student will design, plan, and implement the engraving of their own reusable water bottle. This will allow them to take part in understanding the benefit of using materials that can be reused instead of consumable materials.

This xTool F1 laser will provide a new experience for all students and allow them to express their creativity at the same time.

By learning to use this laser, students will be expanding their options with technology and makerspace tools. Students will be required to learn new software and develop those skills as well as using new hardware in the form of the xTool F1 laser.
