Low Income School College Readiness Supplies

My Project

I work at a low income school with students who come from all types of environments such as foster care, refugees, or other lower income areas. We have programs in the school where we are helping them understand better about the future that they can have. AVID teaches them the skills that they need to start life outside of school

These students learn the skills through AVID to help them to look at their college or career skills to be better when their time at school is over.

The lanyards will be handed to students who cannot get their own for their school ID that they have to bring daily for entrance to the school. The university flags are going around out school as we have worked all year to make it AVID ready. And the map we will put the location of the university our staff has gone to. Some even coming from overseas.
