Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My classroom is full of students who are absolutely amazing!

Every student is very eager to learn and grow every single day despite some of the circumstances that many of them have to go through.

My first grade classroom is located in a low socioeconomic part of Mississippi that consist a very diverse population. Despite any obstacle that my students face they are always in a positive mood and excited about learning. They make me want to be the best teacher for them and provide them with the best opportunities!

My Project

Many elementary students struggle with in the inability to stay focused or on task during lessons due to very short attention spans. Flexible seating is an amazing way to help students become more engaged in the classroom while having the opportunity to "get their wiggles out". If you choose to donate items to the classroom they will be used to help students focus on their lessons.

Learning should be fun and exciting!

More and more teachers are trying flexible seating each year with amazing results. I am excited for many of my students to have the opportunity to reach their full potential!
