My Students

My school has some fantastic students. They are hard workers and come from homes that have limited income and limited access to technology. My coworkers dedicate so much time, energy, and money to help support our students.

COVID-19 has kept our students and teachers scrambling to learn new ways to teach and learn in online settings.

We believe that all students deserve to have an opportunity to learn and to have access to current technology in the classroom, even in the midst of a pandemic.

My Project

The use of technology is a daily activity in my classroom. Having three Chromebooks in my classroom will greatly benefit our whole school. I have students rotating in and out of my Reading Intervention classroom all day every day. I only have my one teacher computer assigned to my classroom, so I have to borrow 3-4 Chromebooks from other classes.

Having three Chromebooks dedicated to my classroom means I won't have to continually borrow from other teachers.

By helping to fund this project, you will be helping over 900 students have better access to technology and help them improve their literacy deficiencies that have been exacerbated because of the current pandemic.
