Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My student are great! They are still transitioning to in person teaching like me. They are sweet and respectful. They are making my first year an experience to remember. I want to make this year a positive experience for them.
My Project
My students have not had in person teaching in about a year in a half. They need hands on learning in order to feel confident in thier mathematical skills. I know they understand and just need that extra visual aide to help get them to the top! As a visual learner I know how important it is to be able to see the math probls come to life and solve them with visual representation. Math manipulative are one of the most important aspects needed in math to understand it properly.
