Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Each one of my 7th grade students contributes a unique perspective to our diverse classroom environment. I'm so proud of my students and work each day to make certain they know how valued they are!

We are identified as a Title I school with limited resources, however the opportunities for growth and the broadening of perspectives knows no boundaries!

Fostering lifelong learners is one of my top priorities!

My Project

Research shows that if a student is in an environment they feel comfortable in, they do their best work. These items will help decorate and organize our classroom space as well as create a warm environment which supports both my students social emotional development and their love of Literacy.

Inspirational wall decals, a positive magnetic poetry set, engaging Manga novels, a standing lamp to soften the light, and jewelry stands to organize our classroom headsets will all assist in brightening up our environment, as well as imaginations!

My goal is to make certain my students feel welcome, valued, and empowered to always do their best. This project will help foster their creativity and help build self esteem.
